Tiger Woods, $9,400 – It’s Tiger Woods and he’s back. With a T2 at the Valspar last weekend, he’s on a great roll. It’s not often at all, you’ll find the betting favorite at under $10K. He’s won here 8 times and it looks like he might be ready to add to that and pick up #9 here.
Emiliano Grillo, $16,200 – I usually stray away from picking this guy because of how expensive he is. He’s a great price this week and has made all of his cuts this year. He’s performed well at the API in the past and I look forward to him continuing that stretch.
Sam Saunders, $7,400 – He could be a popular pick this week due to his relationship with the aforementioned Arnold Palmer. I like his game a lot though, and knowing that he’s playing with a heavy heart, could motivate him a bit more. He missed the cut last week but started playing better last year. He’s made more and more cuts of recent, with a few top 10s happening.
Jason Kokrak, $12,200 – He’s been playing huge recently. He’s made all of his cuts in the year 2018 going 5/5. He’s also coming off of a tough top 10 at the Valspar. I have always liked his game, and his excitement of Xavier as the #1 seed this weekend (his alma mater) should carry him to a victory.
Charles Howell III, $18,700 – I can’t believe this guy has played over 500 events on tour. He’s been around for a while but hasn’t won for too long. He’s made the cut in each of the past few years and is a great price for the confidence I have in him.
Justin Rose, $33,300 – I had the money left and trust him with this final pick. He’s had 3 wins in his last ten starts. He had a chance last weekend and he’ll have one again this week. I also listened to a recent interview with his swing coach Sean Foley talking about all the changes he’s made to his game, and all I can say is I’m all in on him. Let’s go. Justin Rose for the win this week.
